Most of your responsibilities are (but not limited to):

  • Responsible for leading the local design teams (Interior designers, Workshop Manager and Art Leads) on a country level.
  • Assigns the local team in coordination with Head of Country.
  • Ensures that each team is duly hired and trained before the commencement of each project, and will fill responsibilities of Interior Designers when needed so to not delay the development of a project.
  • Effective daily management of the each project’s team to ensure transparency and constant and effective communication.
  • Ensures that the Design Packages are designed to Selina’s standards, as well as be efficient in design teams: the DPs are produced within a time limit to suit the department’s deadlines:
  • Country Lead Design will design one full project at a time, from A to Z, from the country’s scope work
  • Systematic communication with Global Head of Design for the review and approval of each DP
  • Ensures that the creative proposal is aligned with Selina standard and is happening in coordination with the interior design process;
  • Maintain follow up mechanisms and bi-weekly meetings with Design Coordinator for briefing on all projects, scheduling, budget coordination, hiring/moving staff, and to ensure alignment with other Departments’ needs.
