Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure the bar opens on time and that they are ready for the clients.
  • Ensure excellent front of house service, allocate and support staff throughout the shift to maintain speed of service and cleanliness of the bar.
  • Keep staff busy and productive at all times.
  • Ensure stock is received and secured.
  • Ensure all material for good functioning of the bar
  • Ensure staff meet the standards of the bars, addressing and correcting bad practice where need be.
  • Pre-empt and actively responding to problems that arise and keeping management up to date. ∙ Ensure high quality standard of service
  • Ensure the closure of the bar
  • To clean and maintain all bar equipment and notify management of any issues. 
  • Assist in cash handling procedures as required 
  • Feedback on your shift to the managers and supervisor taking over.
  • Attend all staff meetings.
  • Ensure health & safety procedures of all Bar staff.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous 2 years of experience in bar or club
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering excellent customer service
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work within team and supervise a team
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Able to delegate effectively
